SASMAR is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic intern in International Trade.
As a leading pharmaceutical company with a strong presence in personal care and fertility products, including our renowned Conceive Plus brand, SASMAR operates in over 70 countries worldwide.
As an International Trade Intern at SASMAR, you will assist the International Trade team in various tasks related to market entry, export operations, and trade compliance. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to learn more about the complexities of international trade while contributing to our mission.
We are looking for an intern to start on 16 June 2025 and finish on 16 December 2025 (6 months).
The candidate should have the right to live and work in Europe that allows them to carry out an internship in Malta.
This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the dynamic field of international trade, allowing you to develop valuable skills in a global business environment.
Support the International Trade team in research and analysis of target markets.
Assist in the preparation of export documentation and trade compliance materials.
Participate in market research to identify potential clients and distributors.
Help monitor shipments and coordinate logistics with freight forwarders.
Compile reports on market trends, competitor analysis, and sales opportunities.
Assist in organizing trade shows and promotional events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support international sales activities.
Learn and apply principles of international trade regulations and compliance.
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in International Business, Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong interest in international trade and global market operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Google Suite
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proactive and eager to learn.
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
Availability to commit to the internship for a minimum of 6 months.
